The children of the Joint-Forces Operation servicemen/women and one family, where one of the parents has died fighting in the war between Ukraine and Russia in Eastern Ukraine. In the Ternopil region, because of the situation with covid, unfortunately, we won't be able to send actual presents. So, after consulting with the Leaders of our community organisations, it was decided to organise an event for the children in Ukraine, where St. Nicholas will hand over envelopes containing money together with greeting cards written by the children of our school. 2. An orphanage in the village of Nove Selo, Pidvolochysk district in the Ternopil region. Orphans and abandoned children live in this orphanage. Currently, there are 14 children in the orphanage, who are very much looking forward to gifts from St. Nicholas. 3. ‘Children of the Street’ Centre in Lviv This is an organisation that helps children from single-parent and poor families. We financed this project last year. In addition to the cultural and many activities organised for these children, a music teacher was hired to work with the children during the course of the year. In order for children to be able to attend music lessons in the future, the centre needs additional sources of funding.
