This month is NaNoWriMo- National Novel Writing Month. Its a non-for profit writing organisation that helps novice and expert authors to write a novel in a month. The program is free, for more information check out their website at https://nanowrimo.org/ or come into the library and check out our display.
As our way of bottling up the stories from our very own City Historian Tim Moore, we launch our own unique podcast series.>> "UNLOCKING SECRET STORIES OF THE PAST" Episode 1: Most Horrific Murders... This podcast will give you a recount on the wacky history, stories and scandals from the past. This podcast is not for the faint of heart, it does discuss true crime and the colourful history of the gold-rush, sometimes gory but always interesting and we do recommend this one for adults only.
