Please note that all school and district offices are closed to members of the public due to the ongoing concerns with COVID-19. Access is by appointment only and there will only be a skeleton staff working in offices during the closure.
Per Governor Baker's order, all schools will be closed from now through April 7th, 2020.
We will be closed beginning on Monday, March 16th through at least Friday, March 27th.
School will be closed on Friday, March 13th as additional time is needed to complete the cleaning.
A Wilmington resident and parent of two children is symptomatic for COVID-19. There will be no school on Thursday, March 12th in order to provide time for a thorough cleaning.
The Wilmington Public Schools will be operating under a 2-hour delay today - Thursday, February 13 given concerns with the potential of ice on roadways & sidewalks.
With the storm forecast that is projected to intensify towards the afternoon, and the concern for student and staff safety, WPS will be closed today, Tuesday, December 17.
With the timing of the storm scheduled to end tomorrow mid-morning and scheduled to bring up to 8 additional inches, all WPS schools and offices will be closed again tomorrow - Tuesday, December 3.
Due to the winter storm, all WPS schools and offices will be closed tomorrow, Monday, December 2nd. There will be no before or after-school activities or CARES.
