Molly is sad that Storytime Online is cancelled today. But don't worry, we have plenty of fun activities you can participate in on your own! Don't forget to sign up for our Winter Reading Program, which begins Friday! We also will have a brand new Tale Trek outside of the library this afternoon. Pick up some Take-It, Make-It's for something to do over the long New Year's holiday! We have a Teen DIY, Elementary Art Kit, Elementary STEM Kit, Take-It, Make-It Messtival, and Storytime To-Go Kits available! Don't forget to grab a Scavenger Hunt sheet for our Outdoor Scavenger Hunt!

We will have a new Tale Trek tomorrow! Enjoy the "Biggest Snowman Ever" outside of our library! Take the survey at the end so we know what books you might like to see in our next Tale Trek!

Brimfield Public Library will close for the New Year holidays at 4:00pm on Wednesday, December 30 and reopen at 10:00am on Monday, January 4. All of us at the library wish you a safe and happy New Year!

The Brimfield Public Library is so excited to be working with area educators this year to help facilitate career exploration and hands-on technology training for students in our district. We look forward to seeing how today's virtual chat with archeologist John Lambert inspires Brimfield 6th graders as they design their own 3D ziggurats. We are thankful for another year of Project Next Generation grant funding through the Illinois State Library and Institute of Museum and Library Services that will allow the library to print all 51 designs! Stay tuned for pictures.

We will be closed on Saturday, but we do have a Halloween TaleTrek ready for anyone who wants some Halloween fun! Costumes encouraged!

Guess what everyone! The TaleTrek is up a little early! Bundle up, head to the library, and enjoy "Click, Clack, Boo: A Tricky Tale" by Doreen Cronin. You will find yourself flying like a bat, stretching like a cat, and shuffling like a zombie from page to page. Costumes are welcome and encouraged!

Starting November 5th, yoga will be moving to Thursday evenings from 6:00-7:00.
