What can Pause help with? - Anything relating to emotional wellbeing, your feelings and how to manage them. Our team is made up of experienced wellbeing practitioners & wellbeing volunteers who will take the time to listen to whatever it is that is troubling you.

We have some good news to share with you............on Thursday 3rd of September the library will open for browsing and computer use. For everyone's safety and to ensure our staff have time to clean and tidy the building, browsing and computers are limited to a maximum of 45 mins. The library will look very different, but we are pleased to be taking this first step in the direction of normal. Thank you all for your support over the last few weeks, and for your patience in the weeks to come as we find our way through new ways of working.

Limited Service on Thursday 29th of October 2020. Due to unforeseen circumstances on Thursday the library will be open for returns only - there will be no access to the library to borrow books or to use a computer. On Friday 30th of October we will be back to our usual opening times and computers will be available.

We thought this was really good advice, especially as we notice some of our customers are pulling the mask down to prevent this happening. As a fellow wear of glasses I understand how annoying fogging can be, but to protect everyone remember your mask needs to cover your nose and your mouth.

From today the HNS COVID-19 App for Track and Trace goes live. Anyone with a smart phone can download the App and then as you enter a library you just scan our QR code. Our QR code will be visible in the entrance to the library, and once you have the App you will be able to use this is other places across the city.

Birmingham Libraries now has an app you can download onto your mobile phone to enable you to issue books and renew those you have on loan. It's a fast and convenient way of using the library, as you can issue your books as you browse. Just click the link below and follow the set up instructions, and your ready to go.
