My oh my! More new books are going on the shelves!

New children's books! The "How Do Dinosaurs" series is always good for a laugh or two, AND a lesson. New DVDs, including straight from the '90s, the Dinosaurs! Also enjoy the new live-action "Mulan" and the new "The Call of the Wild" with Han Solo, er, I mean, Indiana Jones, no, wait! Bruce Willis! Yeah, that's right, Harrison Ford! (It's not a bad movie, but it's been too long since we read the book to tell you if it follows the story closely or not.)

The Mannford community is ah-maze-ing! (But we knew that!) The Santa Paws Tree at the Mannford Public Library last month benefitted the Mannford, OK Animal Shelter Friends Foundation. This year it was blessed with tons of dry dog food, cat food, treats, LOTS of toys, over 20 soft blankies, and nearly everything on their wish list, including about $70 in cash. Lucy Upton with the shelter friends foundation picked up and packed up the massively generous donations today at t...he library. The librarians at Mannford Public Library feel privileged to help this worthy community organization. Thank you, Mannford!

Donations for the Santa Paws tree are due today! Please bring in any donations by the end of the day. Today we close at 6:00 pm. Thank you to all that have donated so far!

We have some great party supply stuff that we'd love to sell really cheap. This could help your party and help clear some space in our storage. Come in for a better look. There's a variety, from rock 'n roll to baseball.

Reminder! We will be closed today from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm.

It's up! Our annual Santa Paws Tree is up and ready for people to pick out an ornament. All donations benefit the Mannford, OK Animal Shelter Friends Foundation.

Just a heads up: the library will be closed from 12:00 pm to 2:00 p.m this Friday, Dec. 11 for our employee Christmas lunch. We will open at our regular time of 10 a.m. that day.
