A great read that can be found at our library or requested in the MORE system: "The Librarian of Boone's Hollow: A Novel" by Kim Vogel Sawyer. This book also available in Large Print and was published September 2020 . When Addie Cowherd's father loses his job in the later 1930's, she is forced to take the only employment she can find--delivering books on horseback to poor coal-mining families in the hills of Kentucky as a traveling librarian. But turning a new page will be nearly impossible in Boone's Hollow, where residents are steeped in superstitions and deeply suspicious of outsiders. Addie learns to trust the One who truly pens her story. https://more.bibliocommons.com/item/show/2491478164
