The library will be open on Wednesday 4th November, 2pm - 5pm, but will then be closed for the duration of the lockdown. Book loans will be extended and no fines will be applied during this period. If you want to pick up some books on Wednesday afternoon, bring a list of authors or some idea of the type of book you enjoy reading, and our volunteers will be pleased to find you some suitable titles. Don't forget your library card!
The Long Crendon Living Advent Calendar Walk starts tomorrow December 1st with the first four windows in the High Street. You can collect a paper map of the walk showing the location and date that each window will be lit from Long Crendon Butchers, there’s also a copy in the Crendon Crier or follow the link here to Google maps. https://www.google.com/maps/d/viewer... The windows will be lit in date order between 4pm and 10pm until December 25th. Huge thanks to everyone who has volunteered their windows and their time. Let Christmas begin!
The Library is reopening from Saturday 5th December. For the winter months, the library will be open from 11-12 on Saturday mornings and 3-4pm on Wednesdays for book loans and returns.
